xegen / 7 Days to Die World Generator

xegen generates a complete, ready-to-play 7DTD world in your browser - no game install, no dead desktop tools. We build several candidate worlds, score them for terrain realism and gameplay balance (traders, biome progression, safe forest spawn), and hand you the best one with a map preview and a download.

Takes about a minute. 3 worlds per day; downloads valid 24h.

How to install the world

  1. Unzip the download into user_data/GeneratedWorlds/ on your server (the zip already contains a correctly named world folder).
  2. Set GameWorld in serverconfig.xml to that folder name.
  3. Restart the server. Singleplayer: drop the folder into Data/Worlds instead.

What you get

Real height map, biomes with gameplay progression (safe forest spawn, wasteland at the edges), highways and towns assembled from the game's own street tiles, traders placed at town edges, baked sleeper spawns - validated to load on a real V2.x dedicated server. Prefer it fully managed? Host with Supercraft and generate worlds straight onto your server from the panel.
