Minecraft Sphere Generator

Build a pixel-perfect sphere or dome block by block. The tool slices the sphere into horizontal layers and draws each one - step through with the slider and build from the bottom up. Hollow or filled, with per-layer and total block counts. Runs in your browser.

Diameter: 15 This layer: 0 Total blocks: 0

Layer 8 / 15

How to build a sphere or dome in Minecraft

  1. Set the diameter. Leave Hollow on for a normal build (just the shell); turn it off for a solid ball.
  2. Use the slider to step through layers from bottom to top. Each layer is a flat circle - place blocks to match it, then move up one and repeat.
  3. For a dome, build only from the middle layer upward (or downward). For a full sphere, build every layer.

Each layer is exactly the circle our Minecraft circle generator would draw at that slice's width, so the two tools agree block for block. Bigger spheres need a lot of material - watch the total count before you start mining.

Building something big on a server?

Domes, planetariums, and giant spheres are multi-session, multi-builder projects - the kind a dedicated server is made for. The tool is free and needs no account; if you need somewhere to host the build, Supercraft is one option among many.
